KST explosion-proof electric actuators are suitable for hazardous environments where flammable gases may be present.
They comply with multiple international standards including GB3836.1-2010, GB3836.2-2010, EN/IEC60079-0, EN/IEC60079-1, EN/IEC60079-31, EN ISO/IEC80079-36, and EN ISO/IEC80079-37.
Flameproof enclosures are designed to contain internal explosions without allowing the flame to escape and ignite the surrounding explosive atmosphere.
The flameproof enclosure uses a robust flame path design that ensures a long contact surface area between joint faces, preventing ignition through the housing gaps.
This allows equipment to operate safely and reliably in explosive environments.
KST explosion-proof actuators meet the following structural and explosion-proof requirements:
Electric motor
Electrical components
Terminal block
The KST-Ex05 is an intelligent, explosion-proof electric actuator designed for controlling valves in hazardous environments. It features robust flameproof construction to prevent ignition in explosive atmospheres, making it ideal for industries like oil and gas, chemical processing, and mining. With a torque range of 50–2000 Nm and various motion angles (up to 270°), it offers reliable operation. Additionally, it includes a visual valve position indicator, manual override via a handwheel, and options for remote control, ensuring enhanced safety and efficiency.
